LEGAL
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to follow applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), company (optional), the service you are interested in, a project date (optional) and your message. We also keep a one-way, salted hash of your IP address and the time of your enquiry so we can prevent spam and abuse; we do not store your raw IP address with the enquiry.
We do not ask for passwords, payment card details or other sensitive personal information. Please do not include them in your message.
2. Why we use it
- To read and respond to your enquiry and to prepare a quote or follow-up.
- To keep a record of enquiries and manage our business relationships.
- To protect the website from spam, abuse and misuse.
- To meet legal or regulatory obligations.
We process your information based on the consent you give when you submit the form, and where needed for legitimate business and legal purposes permitted by law. We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
3. Who handles your data
We use trusted service providers to run the website. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:
- Supabase — database, authentication and server functions where enquiries are stored.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and the Turnstile spam-protection check.
- Discord — a private team channel where a copy of each enquiry (name, contact details and message) is posted so staff can respond quickly.
- Google — Gmail, used to email enquiry notifications to our team, and Google Fonts, which loads the website typefaces (your browser contacts Google to fetch them).
These providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Cookies and local storage
The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our private admin area uses browser storage to keep authorised staff signed in. Cloudflare Turnstile may set technical data needed to tell humans from bots.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to handle your request, maintain business records and meet legal obligations, and then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see section 7).
6. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), server-side validation and rate limiting to protect your information. Only authorised NexGnet staff can view enquiries. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, erase it, or withdraw your consent, and you may raise a grievance with us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already done. To make a request, contact us using the details below and tell us the email address you used in the form.
8. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
9. Third-party links
Links to social media or other sites are governed by those sites' own policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
